Idaho Master Naturalists

Master NaturalistThe City of Boise is proud to partner with the MK Nature Center and Idaho Botanical Garden on the Idaho Master Naturalist Program.

The mission of the Idaho Master Naturalist Program is to develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to actively work toward stewardship of Idaho’s natural environment. This is achieved locally, via the Sagebrush Steppe chapter consisting of the partners listed above. Through a series of education and volunteer opportunities, participants are given the opportunity to learn about our community's natural environment and aid in its stewardship.

The best part of becoming a Master Naturalist is joining a statewide network of dedicated, trained volunteers who work to educate citizens about conservation and Idaho’s natural resources. It's a great way to further your education and interest in nature and give back to your community. Please join us!

Registration for the 2019 class begins at 9:00 a.m. on November 1, 2018. Early registration forms will NOT be accepted. Registration forms received prior to November 1, 2018 will be returned to the applicant.
