Lifetime and Leisure Activities
Lifetime and Leisure Activities are social, educational and fitness related programs for adults age 62 and older. Transportation is provided from three of the Boise City Community Centers to many of the programs. Join us for an activity, meet new friends and leave the driving to us!

Scholarships are designed to help meet the needs of adults within the community to access recreational programs and activities at a reduced rate.

Boise Parks and Recreation offers overnight travel opportunities for our participants as well as community members. Adults of any age are welcome to travel with us.
Pendleton, Oregon Tour June 5-7, 2018
Join us for a 3 day, 2 night trip to Pendleton!
Depart from the Senior Center and travel to Baker City, Oregon. Here you will visit the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center offering living history demonstrations, interpretive programs, exhibits, multi-media presentations, special events, and more than four miles of interpretive trails. Once we reach Pendleton, we will visit the Heritage Station Museum and tour the Pendleton Woolen Mills and the Pendleton Underground (please be aware this tour has several narrow stairways). We will also visit Sno Road Winery in nearby Echo for a wine tasting.
Cost Includes: Travel from Boise will be provided on a deluxe restroom equipped motor coach, 2 nights at the Wild Horse Resort in a courtyard room, admissions, tours and wine tasting as listed will be included as well as a Harmon Travel Tour Manager to handle all the details of the tour.
