Lifetime and Leisure Activities
Lifetime and Leisure Activities are social, educational and fitness related programs for adults age 62 and older. Transportation is provided from three of the Boise City Community Centers to many of the programs. Join us for an activity, meet new friends and leave the driving to us!

Scholarships are designed to help meet the needs of adults within the community to access recreational programs and activities at a reduced rate.

Boise Parks and Recreation offers overnight travel opportunities for our participants as well as community members. Adults of any age are welcome to travel with us.
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival- April 15-18, 2019 Presented by Harmon Travel
Take in the sights of the northwest on this trip through Oregon and Washington States. Tour the Pendleton Woolen Mills, stay at the Swinomish Casino and Lodge and tour downtown Ellensburg. Tour the tulip fields with stops at Roozengaarde Gardens and Tulip Town. In Leavenworth explore the Bavarian Village and experience the signature buffet. On your way back to Boise on the final day of the trip, stop at Liberty Orchards for shopping and enjoy free samples from the Country Store. In addition to Aplets and Cotlets, find many souvenirs, food and other creations from across Washing State. Send in your deposit today. Final balance is due by February 15th. Travel Presentation – February 4th 1:00 p.m.
Collette Travel will be on hand to discuss the British Landscapes tour and answer questions about the 2019 trip schedule. Come learn about this tour of England, Scotland and Whales. We will also discuss ideas for 2010 travel destinations.
