Participants are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from their home and the community center where the program or activity is based. AdVenture staff are not responsible for individuals who are dropped off before the noted meeting time. Some alternative transportation services which operate in the Treasure Valley are listed below; please contact these services for more information.

ACCESS is a curb-to-curb transit service for the cities of Boise, Garden City, Nampa and Caldwell. Scrip Taxi Program  is a subsidized taxi program available to those age 15 years and older who have a permanent disability which inhibits their ability to drive a vehicle. Those who wish to utilize this service must live within the Boise City Limits and they will receive a 50% discount on taxi services to help meet their transportation needs. Participants must first acquire a Scrip ID card which can be obtained at the Boise Senior Center, 690 Robbins Rd. After obtaining the ID card, the participant may purchase the Scrip vouchers. Call 208-608-7580 to learn more or to schedule an appointment.

SHIP - Free Transportation for People with Disabilities in Ada County
Valley Regional Transit and Go Ride are offering a new program called SHIP. SHIP offers FREE rides to people with disabilities and Seniors age 65 and older who live in Ada County. Rides are available Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. You must register in advance and each ride must be reserved two working days in advance. SHIP currently has three wheelchair accessible vans which will come directly to your home (if you live in Ada County).
