Adaptive Rafting

The adaptive rafting program is one of AdVenture's most popular programs. We take participants on multiple rivers including the Main and Cabarton sections of the Payette River and the Boise River. We've facilitated rafting opportunities for numerous people of varying abilities since 1985. We rely on experienced and dedicated volunteers to help keep the costs as low asraft.jpg possible for our participants. All AdVenture trips are led by the Adapted Recreation Coordinator and include volunteer support, meals, rafting equipment and transportation to and from Fort Boise Community Center and the rivers. Participants are responsible for bringing some person items, please see the Rafting Packing List for details. Participants and/or their guardians will also need to sign the Rafting Waiver of Liability.

The AdVenture adaptive rafting season runs from June through August. Please see the Summer Activity Guide for trip dates.

"Everything about this experience was positive. The trip itself was outstanding, but the best part was the camaraderie and the feeling that as a team working toward each person's ability, we made it work."-AdVenture Rafting Participant
