Dogs take a swim Aug. 26 at See Spot Splash
Take your dog for a dive! Dogs swim for free at "See Spot Splash" from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26 at The Natatorium, 1181 Warm Springs Ave.
The 6th annual off-leash play and swim party is sponsored by Boise Parks & Recreation and the Idaho Humane Society.
Admission is free; donations benefit dog parks in Boise.
For the enjoyment and safety of all participants, one-hour sessions will start at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. The maximum capacity is 50 dogs per hour.
Rules of the pool and a waiver for dog owners are available online.
Boise Parks & Recreation and the Idaho Humane Society have collaborated on several projects in recent years. In 2006, the popular See Spot Walk event raised more than $20,000 for installation of the Morris Hill dog park shelter.

Registration for summer Swim Team or Swimming Lessons will begin April 21 for City Residents, and April 28 for Non Residents. Click here to access online registration.
Swim lessons are available at all six pools from June - August. Eight 25-minute classes are offered Mondays-Thursdays in two-week sessions. Classes are taught by certified instructors. Youth season swim passes start at $30 for Boise city residents. Family passes and non-resident passes also are available. Find season swim pass and daily admission information here.

New at Fairmont Pool! Inflatable obstacle course
Fairmont pool will offer an inflatable obstacle course. It will be available during open swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm-5:30pm, Fridays from 7pm-9pm, and all day on Sundays. Swim test will be required to participate. There will still be areas of the pool available for those who do not wish to play on the inflatable.
