Dive into summer!
All six city outdoor pools opened for the season on June 2, 2015. We offer public swimming, lap swim, swim team and swim lessons all summer!
Swim lessons are available at all six pools from June - August. Eight 25-minute classes are offered Mondays-Thursdays in two-week sessions. Classes are taught by certified instructors. To register for swim lessons, see our online registration system or call Fort Boise Community Center at (208) 608-7680 (Monday-Friday).
Youth season swim passes start at $30 for Boise city residents. Family passes and non-resident passes also are available. Find season swim pass and daily admission information here.
Borah, Fairmont, Ivywild, and the Natatorium Pools are wheelchair accessible.
If you would like to reserve a pool for a private party, please call Fort Boise Community Center at (208) 608-7680 (Monday through Friday).
South Pool, located next to South Junior High School will offer weekly water aerobics classes. Check the summer Activity Guide for more details.
Fairmont Pool offers an Inflatable obstacle course
Fairmont pool will offer an inflatable obstacle course. It will be available during open swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm-5:30pm, Fridays from 7pm-9pm, and all day on Sundays. Swim test will be required to participate. There will still be areas of the pool available for those who do not wish to play on the inflatable.
