Skyline Park is a 1.5-acre mini park in West Boise.
The site was donated to the city in 1974 by The Skyline Corporation
for use as a public park.
A playground and shelter was completed in March 2009 will
provide children and adults with a family-friendly gathering place
in the heart of their West Boise neighborhood.
The playground, which is suitable for children age 2-12,
features play structures and swings.
The site also features a concrete plaza with bench and a picnic
shelter, barbecue stand, bike rack and picnic tables.
The West Valley Neighborhood Association was awarded a $50,000
Neighborhood Reinvestment Grant for the $98,000 project. The City
of Boise contributed additional funds.
