Quarry View Park

qvgeneralshelter.JPGThis neighborhood park is close to the historic Warm Springs State Penitentiary.  Neighborhood access is via two pedestrian paths from the adjoining neighborhood. Existing amenities in the park include a complete playground, a combination restroom and reservable picnic shelter building, two tennis courts, a large open play area, a full outdoor basketball court, and limited parking. The park is heavily used for both picnic reservations and soccer practice.

Quarry View Park was built on land leased by the city of Boise from the state of Idaho. The land was leased to the City for 50 years in 1983. The park is approximately 11 acres in size and is only available for private shelter reservations-- it is not available for Special Events.

Open play areas are cut grass spaces that provide opportunities for healthy recreational activities for people of all ages.

Park is open from sunrise to sunset.

Reservations

Quarry View Park has a covered shelter which may be reserved.

Restrooms

Restrooms are now closed and park drinking fountains are turned off for the winter.

Smoking Prohibition

Boise Smokefree Park SignSmoking is prohibited in all public parks, including within 20 feet of the Boise Greenbelt, except in designated areas within Ann Morrison and Julia Davis parks and city-owned golf courses.

NOTE: E-cigarettes are not prohibited under the ordinances.
