Fairmont Park

7925 W NORTHVIEW ST

Fairmont.jpgThe 7-acre neighborhood park is located on the Boise Bench between Cole and Milwaukee St. next to Morley Nelson Elementary School and Community Center. Park amenities include a playground, softball diamonds, a soccer field, a picnic area and a municipal pool.

Construction is over and the four tennis courts at the park are now available for play.

The Tennis and Track Company Inc. was the contractor for the two-month project, which included demolition and reconstruction of the courts. The $227,019 project was funded by the City of Boise.

The construction of the Fairmont Park was a joint agreement between Boise City and Boise School District. After a long process the park was completed in 1977.
