Boise Hills Park (Partially Developed)
651 Clubview Ct
REVISED MASTER PLAN--A
single-track bike course for kids age 12 and under has been added
to the master plan for Boise Hills Park, 651 Clubview Court in
North Boise. The revision was approved Nov. 15, 2012 by the Boise
Parks & Recreation Commission.
When funding becomes available, the single-track
course will provide a safe environment for young children seeking
to improve their bicycling skills.
The Boise Hills Neighborhood Association
has teamed up with Olympic Gold Medalist Kristin Armstrong to apply
for a Neighborhood Reinvestment Grant to build the course. Grant
recipients will be announced in early 2013.
Neighborhood kids have discovered the joys of open space and
playground equipment at the 7.3-acre Boise Hills Park.
Completed in December 2011, the park features play equipment, a
parking lot, a bike rack, trash can, utilities and 3 new
trees. The project also includes a shade structure and
benches.
The playground surface is made of recycled rubber tile, a
sustainable element requiring less maintenance.
Funding was provided with $192,000 in impact fees and $56,000
from a Neighborhood Reinvestment Grant awarded by the Mayor and
City Council.
Grass, restrooms, tennis and basketball courts will be installed
as additional funding becomes available.

A
Master Plan is concept plan and illustration of recreation
facilities and landscape features planned for a park site. It does
not necessarily represent what amenities are currently in a
park.
