Neighborhood Community Centers
Boise Parks & Recreation operates 6 community centers in
neighborhoods throughout the city. All of the centers provide free
or low-cost programs for children, including homework assistance,
art projects, games and other activities. Boise Parks &
Recretion partnered with Boise School District to create Grace
Jordan, Morley Nelson and Whitney. These centers include art rooms
with kilns, dance studios and fee-based programs for children and
adults. Free after-school drop-in activities for kids in
grades 4-6 will feature fitness and art programs, homework
assistance and a healthy snack provided by the Idaho
Foodbank. Teens will enjoy computer stations, a big-screen
TV, and interactive video games. For more information, call the
