Our community center is located at Morley Nelson Elementary School, 7701 W Northview St. on the Boise Bench. The center opened in 2008.

Morley1The 4,000-square-foot community center features multipurpose rooms for free after-school drop-in use, an art center with classes for children and adults, and a supervised teen activity center with computers, games and a lounge area.

Kid City is a free after-school drop-in program serving children in grades 4-6 features fitness and art programs, homework assistance, and a healthy snack. Kid City is open from open from 3:00-7:00pm weekdays year round.

The Teen Center offers an informal gathering space with cozy lounge chairs, computer stations with interactive video games, and a flat-screen TV with Nintendo Wii. Staff members provide mentoring and life skills development for teens. The teen center hours are 2:30-7:00 pm weekdays.

teenside.jpgAttention Teens!  TeenSide is a teenage organization that engages youth in their community through volunteer, service learning, and recreational projects. Teens meet, develop, and construct their own projects, identifying needs found in Boise and the surrounding area.

Boise Smokefree Park SignSmoking is prohibited in all public parks, including within 20 feet of the Boise Greenbelt, except in designated areas within Ann Morrison and Julia Davis parks and city-owned golf courses.

NOTE: E-cigarettes are not prohibited under the ordinances.
