Learn more and apply for Clean Water and Habitat Improvement funds

On June 13th from noon to 1 p.m. and again from 5 to 6 p.m., the City of Boise will host an open house to answer questions related to the Improvement Project Partnership Program at the Boise Depot.

This will be a great opportunity for interested citizens and organizations to learn more about the project application process and ask questions of city employees.

In 2015, Boise voters approved a $10-million levy to support the preservation of open space and the implementation of habitat and clean water improvement project in areas such as the Boise foothills and the Boise River.

A nine-member volunteer committee, the Open Space and Clean Water Advisory Committee, will receive project applications and make funding recommendations to Boise City Mayor and Council.

Applications are due by August 31st and can be found at the Parks and Recreation website under “Application Materials”: /about-us/boise-city-open-space-and-clean-water-advisory-committee/.
