Learn about fire at Foothills Family Day March 11

Foothills family day is a free, family-orientated program offered throughout the year on the second Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center, 3188 Sunset Peak Road.

All ages welcome!

Come learn about the science behind wildfires! Is wildfire good or bad? Join us as we learn why fire is important, but also the importance of reducing fire risk near our beloved city. We will have fire pan demonstrations, a Fire-Wise gardening station, crafts and more!

The Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center is operated by Boise Parks and Recreation. To get there, take 8th Street to Hulls Gulch Reserve in North Boise. Watch for signs 1/3 mile past the end of the pavement.
