Cassia Park master plan public meeting March 22

Boise Parks and Recreation is soliciting feedback on proposed changes to the Cassia Park Master Plan, a 10-acre park located at 4600 W Camas Street.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 22nd at 6 pm at the Library! at Hillcrest, 5246 W Overland Road.

One proposed change would include the addition of a pedestrian bridge over the Ridenbaugh Canal, providing pedestrian connectivity from West Albion Street.

A second proposed change would include a traffic garden or bicycle playground to help teach kids bicycle skills such as stops, merging, roundabouts and left turns. The traffic garden will encompass an area the size of a tennis court and will be located off of the concrete pathway in the park.

We welcome your input and look forward to seeing you at the meeting. If you are unable to attend, you can contact Jennifer Tomlinson, Parks Planning Administrator/Project Manager, at jtomlinson@cityofboise.org or call (208) 608-7637.
