Educators & Parents invited to school garden workshop Jan 14
Are you interested in starting a garden program at your school?
Do you already have a garden but need resources to help it grow? Teachers, parents and school administrators are invited to attend “Just Add Water,” a school garden workshop, from Noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Library! at Cole & Ustick 7557 W Ustick Rd, Boise ID 83704.
The workshop is presented by the Boise Urban Garden School and University of Idaho Extension with support from Boise Parks & Recreation.
School gardens help youth establish healthy eating habits, connect them with math and science curriculum in the garden, and teach them to be environmental stewards.

- Participants will receive extensive resources on the Just Add Water flash drive.
- Participants will engage in a hands-on activity and take home supplies for their own school garden
