Educators & Parents invited to school garden workshop Jan 14

Are you interested in starting a garden program at your school?

Do you already have a garden but need resources to help it grow? Teachers, parents and school administrators are invited to attend “Just Add Water,” a school garden workshop, from Noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Library! at Cole & Ustick 7557 W Ustick Rd, Boise ID 83704.

  • Food Safety
  • Managing your garden through a Garden Advisory Committee
  • School garden success stories
  • Participants will receive extensive resources on the Just Add Water flash drive.
  • Participants will engage in a hands-on activity and take home supplies for their own school garden
