Public feedback sought Feb. 12 on Comba splash pad proposal

Boise Parks and Recreation invites neighbors to attend a public meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 12 to discuss the possible addition of a splash pad to the master plan for West Boise's Comba Neighborhood Park. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Summerwind School of Math & Science (Room 17), 3675 N. Jullion Way.

Comba Park is a partially developed site located at 2995 N. Five Mile.  A community garden, two small picnic shelters and a parking lot were installed in summer 2012.

The spray park would include 4 in-ground fountains and bubblers plus rotating "splash blasters" and interactive water play features.

Funding for the spray park has been provided by an anonymous donor.

The master plan is available on the Boise Parks & Recreation website at http://bit.ly/combapark. If you are unable to attend, please submit your comments to Wendy Larimore, Project Manager, at wlarimore@cityofboise.org  or 208-608-7636.
