Free class March 27 focuses on common tree problems

City arborist Debbie Cook will discuss insects, diseases and other common tree problems March 27 in a free evening class offered by Boise Community Forestry.

The class meets from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Boise Public Library Hayes Auditorium, 715 S. Capitol Blvd. The program is the last in a five-part series of spring tree care classes.

Cook will teach you how to identify problems with your trees and provide suggestions on how to correct them.

Boise Community Forestry is responsible for the management of 41,000 trees in parks & public rights of way. Community Forestry also offers hands-on tree pruning programs and guided tree tours.
